About Us

The WC2 computer is a full-featured computer that performs like an extremely powerful desktop computer but is designed to be worn and carried by an individual during live action.  Moreover, in spite of its advanced features and raw power, the WC2 computer is small and can be worn on a belt, in a vest pocket, as part of body armor, or in just about any custom way imaginable. All its capabilities and more are available in a total system weight of 8 pounds (with long life battery).  There is a wide range of variation possible in the system.

The WC2 consists of three main components: battery, computer core, and forearm unit (that can be worn on either arm).

The photo below shows the entire system with the three main components connected and operating.

In the basic configuration there are only two cables—one going from the computer core to the battery and one going from the computer core to the forearm unit

Superior Technology:  The WC2 computer is based on a standard Intel chipset and a standard Intel Pentium Mobile 4 CPU.  It can run any operating system from Windows XP Professional to Linux to DOS; indeed, any operating system that will run on a desktop PC will also run on the WC2 computer.  The main unit houses the CPU, motherboard, memory (RAM), video interface, audio interface, IDE interface, USB 2.0 interface, ethernet interface, voltage regulator, proprietary low-battery warning and protection system, and a flash drive for operating system, application, and data storage.

The WC2 is equipped with the DOD software required to allow the systems to fully communicate with all military communications platforms (air borne, land borne, water borne) allowing the war fighter to have all intelligence and information needed, available on his arm while his weapon is always in the ready position.  The WC2 gives the war fighter the enhanced situational awareness needed to carry out missions more effectively, quickly and with greater safety.
