About Us

Dramatic Capabilities:  Its components and operability are state-of-the-art and beyond.  The WC2 computer has been tested and certified to perform in extreme conditions and environments.

  • It has no detectable RF or other noise, is silent in operation.

  • The systems meets all MIL STD 801F requirements.  It has passed all DOD temperature, shock, vibration, and impact tests without a single failure.

  • The system is water and pressure resistant to 550 feet and is fully-operational underwater without an imbedded keypad.  With a keypad impedded on the arm unit, the system is water and pressure resistant to 66 feet depth.

  • Testing included operating for 48 hours at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. WC2 passed the DOD tests easily and is capable of operating at even higher temperatures.

  • The power supply has been redesigned to provide current to operate all external ports and provide extra power to run external hubs for even more expansion in the field. An ATX software switch has been added to allow Windows to shut down the system, dropping incoming power from almost 17-watts down to microwatts in standby mode.

  • The battery runs for fifteen hours and weighs less than 3 pounds. This is unprecedented battery life. The battery is replaceable underwater.

  • A microcontroller has been programmed to monitor the battery and calculate the actual run time remaining in the battery. The user can select the threshold and type of warning desired. For example, it can be set to trigger a low battery alert when there is 1 hour of running time left and to flash a warning on the screen, make a tone, send email, or any combination of the three.

  • The flash drive is a solid state equivalent of a hard disk.  It is much more durable and reliable than any traditional hard disk could ever be and provides more features. It also operates silently and does not give off any detectable noise or RF signature as do standard hard drives and cooling fans.

  • The flash drive is shock tested to 1,500g and operating vibrations tested to 15g.  It is rated for 8 million erase/write cycles and 10 years of data integrity.  Special security data erase feature protects sensitive information, and erases even without power applied.

  • The Flash drive’s security erase system can be configured to protect confidential data, and only erase that data while leaving the operating system and applications intact.

  • The LCD screen is transflective (which makes it fully visible in sunlight) and does not have a CCFL backlight.  A CCFL backlight requires an AC driving circuit that produces a large amount of noise in the middle of the AM radio band that could have easily given away operator position.

  • Various configurations are available for the WC2 computer display system.  The underwater version doesn’t have a physical keyboard, but rather an on-screen keyboard.  A land version may opt to utilize head mounted displays.  The system is flexible to be tailored to each units specific requirements.

  • Larger LCD mobile displays are available for portable command centers.  The larger LCD mobile displays will fit in backpacks and are useful when more than one person is observing the display.

  • The main system board consists of a 1.4 GHz Pentium 4 chipset and a standard 64GB or optional 128 GB flash drive and provides four true high-speed USB 2.0 ports.

  • The system integrates seamlessly with all DOD, GOTS and COTS software and hardware.
