State of the Art Battery:

The WC2 System currently includes as standard a 16
.4 ampere-hour lithium ion battery weighing 4.3 pounds which is specially designed for high current output, high durability, and supreme safety. There are several different versions of this battery ranging from half the size, weight, and amp-hour capacity all the way up to a 250 amp-hour version which will power the WC2 System for over 236 hours in a single session.

The WC2 System functions for over fifteen hours on a single charge of its standard 16.4 amp-hour, 2.9 pound battery. There are data files produced by a wearable computer running a program that opened a file, wrote the time, and closed the file, once each minute. The two data files show 15 hours and 20 minutes on the first runtime test and 15 hours and 35 minutes on the second run-time test. The computer was not allowed to enter standby mode - it was connected to the Internet actively downloading and playing video clips for the entire run-time test.

Any power storage device is basically an explosive waiting to be detonated. Our battery contains special chemistry that suppresses combustion and prevents catastrophic failure protecting both the battery and the user. This chemistry is proprietary and is patented in the United States, Japan, and China. Several different manufacturers claim to have similar safety technology; however none have been able to demonstrate anything approaching our level. The secret was in finding the right chemistry to suppress combustion without interfering with charge mobility thereby reducing the available current or reducing the total available recovered power.

During testing the treated anodes were shown to actively suppress an open flame and the cathodes cannot be ignited. When a nail penetrates an untreated battery the result is venting, explosion, and fire.

In addition to the battery, it’s amazing capacity, and its revolutionary safety features, we have a patented, high-current connector that can be quickly and easily connected and disconnected and can withstand the pressure at a depth of 550 feet in seawater. The connector is a self-purging device that can be mated in water or oil. This is a proven technology that has been in use for nearly fifteen years under a variety of conditions ranging from seawater in the open ocean to pressurized pipelines filled with crude oil.
